Work begins Tuesday on project from Rickenbacker Causeway to SW First Ave.

The Florida Department of Transportation will begin an $8 million project from Rickenbacker Causeway to Southwest First Avenue, lasting eight months. Work includes building a bike lane, widening sidewalks, drainage modifications, and upgrading pedestrian facilities. Temporary lane closures and detours will occur during construction.
