Union official says a Philadelphia mass transit strike could be imminent without a new contract

Thousands of Philadelphia mass transit workers may strike if no new contract agreement is reached. The Transport Workers Union Local 234 members are prepared to strike when their contract with SEPTA expires. Talks are ongoing to avoid a work stoppage.
