Two California counties warned to stay out of ocean as 12-foot waves hit

Beachgoers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties are warned to stay out of the ocean due to dangerous waves and rip currents. A high surf advisory issued by the NWS is in effect until early Saturday morning, with potential for ocean drowning and injuries.
