The New York Times and other top news sites block OpenAI's new SearchGPT web crawling bot

Originality.ai found that some top website publishers, including Wired and Vogue, have blocked OAI-SearchBot. CEO Jon Gillham stated confusion over this, as the bot helps drive traffic. OpenAI's SearchGPT is advised to be allowed by website owners for better search results.
