Texas Secretary of State dislikes DOJ plan to monitor polling sites on Election Day

The DOJ will monitor polling locations in 86 jurisdictions, including Dallas and Palo Pinto County. The Texas Secretary of State stated that federal monitors are not allowed inside due to state law, citing strong election integrity measures in Texas.
