Suspect in reported assault, kidnapping arrested after nearly 8-hour standoff in Antioch

An almost eight-hour standoff in Antioch ended with the arrest of a suspect, Tony Watson, who violated court orders and had felony warrants. Police negotiated with him for hours before the SWAT team took him into custody. Watson was hospitalized before being booked into jail.
