Survivors of sex abuse in New York jails say no action has been taken to make prisons safer

Survivors of sex abuse in New York jails gathered in Lower Manhattan to demand action for safer jails. The Adult Survivors Act allows survivors to sue their abusers without a time limit. Over 2,200 cases were filed, with many from Rikers and state prisons.
