Stock market today: Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq inch higher amid earnings rush, GDP, and jobs data

US stocks had a mixed day, with the Nasdaq reaching a new record high after Alphabet's strong earnings. The Dow Jones rose 0.3%, the S&P 500 by 0.2%, and the Nasdaq by 0.2%.
