Sacramento-area company wants to provide emergency energy during PG&E power shutoffs

Off The Wall Energy from Rancho Cordova is developing battery backup devices to provide emergency energy during power shutoffs. The devices can be placed around the home, don't require special wiring, and can be charged using solar panels or wind turbines.
