Russia's ally Belarus targets hundreds for showing solidarity with Ukraine during the war

In Belarus, over 1,600 individuals have been detained for supporting Ukraine, with 200 receiving prison sentences. Belarusian authorities have been accused of torture and unfair trials, intensifying crackdown ahead of the upcoming presidential election. Lukashenko has released some political prisoners amidst ongoing repression.
