GOP Sen. Deb Fischer wins re-election in Nebraska, defeating independent challenger Dan Osborn. Fischer's victory secures Republicans' control of the Senate with 51 seats. Despite a competitive campaign, Fischer's ties with Trump and strong GOP support led to her win.
