Radioactive road project gets initial OK

The EPA has given initial approval for Mosaic Fertilizer LLC to use phosphogypsum, containing radioactive radium, in a road project in Florida. This "pilot" project aims to test road construction designs, despite past safety concerns raised by the agency.
