Sarah Lin, a Kew Gardens teen, earned the Future Woman of Distinction award for her project, Theaters Unsilenced. She improved movie accessibility for the hearing-impaired, inspired by her mother's struggle during a cinema outing. Lin plans to pursue medicine while continuing her accessibility initiatives.
