PSC grants four-year extension for Longview Power companies to begin building gas-fired power plant

The state Public Service Commission has granted Longview Power subsidiaries an extension to construct a gas-fired power plant. The companies have until 2029 to start construction and 2034 to complete it. Despite objections, the extension was approved due to market conditions and financing needs.
