Pedestrian dies after getting hit by car while trying to run across 74 Freeway in Riverside County

A man, identified as Lefty Linscott, was killed while trying to cross Highway 74 in Homeland. The incident occurred when he ran into the path of a car. The driver was unable to avoid the collision. Investigators are seeking information on the incident.
