NTSB warns of defective runway-steering pedals in some Boeing 737 Max jets

The National Transportation Safety Board has issued urgent recommendations to Boeing and the FAA after finding that pedals on 737 Max jetliners can become jammed due to moisture leakage and freezing. This follows an incident involving a United Airlines plane earlier this year.
