MTA shutting down A train service to Rockaways for months of upgrades. Here's when the service changes start.

Starting in 2025, a train service to the Rockaways will be suspended for five months for upgrades to viaducts and bridges to protect against storms. The closure will impact thousands of riders, with shuttle bus service provided as an alternative.
