Moon tree coming to Pittsburgh's historic Allegheny Observatory

A moon tree from NASA's Artemis I mission will be planted in Pittsburgh's Riverview Park. This sweetgum tree symbolizes reaching for the stars and inspires future space explorers. The public can join the planting ceremony on Oct. 6 with space-themed activities for kids.
