Middle East latest: US envoy arrives in Lebanon to meet with officials about possible cease-fire

A U.S. envoy, Amos Hochstein, is in Beirut discussing a potential cease-fire in the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. The proposal aims to remove Israeli forces from Lebanon and push Hezbollah back, with increased Lebanese troops and U.N. peacekeepers in southern Lebanon.
