Michigan man sentenced to 41 months in prison for timber fraud scheme

A Michigan man was sentenced to 41 months in prison for a wire fraud scheme involving his timber business. He defrauded investors by fabricating timber harvesting contracts, using their money for personal expenses. He was ordered to pay $844,282 in restitution.
