Man deemed violent predator caught after removing GPS monitor, escaping and prompting 3-day search

A man convicted of assaulting a woman cut off his GPS monitor and escaped from a restrictive housing complex in Washington state. After a three-day search, Damion Blevins was captured in Portland, Oregon, and will be extradited back to Washington. Officials are investigating the escape.
