Man charged in hit-and-run that killed student near U of M had canceled license, charges say

A Minneapolis man with a history of alcohol-related driving convictions faces charges for a hit-and-run incident near the University of Minnesota, resulting in the death of a student. The man ran a red light, struck the victim, and fled the scene, but was apprehended shortly after.
