LM Re launches Australian unit, hires Aon veteran as head

LM Re, a division of Liberty Mutual, has launched LM Re Australia to expand in the Australasian market. Mark De La Mare has been appointed as head for Australia and New Zealand, bringing 15 years of reinsurance experience to lead the underwriting team in Sydney.
