Letitia James announces ban on pet stores selling dogs

New York City pet stores will be prohibited from selling dogs, cats, and rabbits starting December 15 to combat the cruelty of puppy mills. The law aims to protect animals from mistreatment and health issues, promoting adoption from shelters and licensed breeders.
