Justin Hemmes' Merivale to pay $19.25m to ex-staff who allege they were unpaid

Merivale, a Sydney hospitality company owned by Justin Hemmes, has agreed to pay $19.25 million to settle a lawsuit with ex-employees who claimed they were underpaid. The company did not admit liability. Over 2895 employees were involved in the settlement.
