India's Jio Financial, BlackRock get in-principle approval to set up mutual fund business

Jio Financial and BlackRock received initial approval from India's markets regulator to co-sponsor a mutual fund business. Final approval is pending fulfillment of specific requirements. Jio Financial had previously announced joint ventures with BlackRock for asset management and wealth management services in India.
