Hidden underground, in shining fool's gold, signs of life from millions of years ago

A new arthropod species fossilized in fool's gold, pyrite, was discovered by Luke Parry and team in New York. The well-preserved specimen dates back 450 million years, shedding light on arthropod evolution during the Ordovician Period.
