The Harris-Biden administration has extended the federal student loan repayment moratorium amid legal challenges to the debt cancellation plan. Approximately 8 million borrowers in the SAVE plan will have their payments deferred for at least six more months. President Biden's $475 billion loan forgiveness proposal faces legal hurdles.
