German soccer club St. Pauli quits X ahead of snap elections, calls platform a "hate machine"

German soccer club FC St. Pauli is leaving social media platform X due to increased hate speech and disinformation. The club criticized owner Elon Musk for allowing racism and conspiracy theories. They will now focus on diversity and inclusion and migrate followers to an alternative platform, Bluesky.
