Former Mesquite ISD coach arrested on child grooming charges

A former Mesquite ISD coach was arrested for child grooming charges. Sergio Gonzalez, a coach at A.C. New Middle School, was taken into custody after an inappropriate relationship was reported. Mesquite ISD is cooperating with the investigation to ensure student safety.
