Ford cuts 4,000 jobs in Europe amid weak demand for EVs and rising competition

Ford CFO John Lawler urged for collaborative efforts within the industry in a letter to the German government. The company plans to cut 4,000 jobs in Europe by 2027 due to tough competition and low demand for EVs, especially in Germany and the UK.
