Eric Stonestreet says 'Modern Family' Mitch and Cam spinoff being rejected was 'hurtful'

Eric Stonestreet reflected on a rejected spinoff for his "Modern Family" character, Cam. Despite a great script, ABC passed on the show, leaving Stonestreet feeling hurt. He hinted at a possible Christmas special but believes a spinoff is no longer an option.
