Electric vehicles will account for up to half of auto sales by 2030, BYD Pakistan says

BYD Pakistan aims for up to 50% of vehicles in Pakistan to be electrified by 2030, partnering with Mega Motors. They plan to open an assembly plant in 2026 and introduce electric vehicles this year. Infrastructure challenges may impact the adoption of new energy vehicles in the country.
