California man with neo-Nazi ties sentenced to life in killing of gay ex-classmate

Samuel Lincoln Woodward was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Blaze Bernstein, a gay, Jewish student. The hate crime was motivated by antisemitism and homophobia. Woodward was tied to a neo-Nazi group, Atomwaffen Division, and had a history of targeting gay men.
