Austin orders US forces to be ready to deploy as Middle East heats up

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Harry S. Truman carriers to remain in the Middle East, along with additional air-support capabilities and amphibious groups. This decision aims to enhance U.S. military preparedness in the region in response to potential threats.
