The College Football Playoff selection committee's decisions show the continued dominance of the SEC and Big Ten in college sports. Despite changes like a 12-team playoff, traditional powers like Alabama are still favored, leaving other conferences scrambling for spots. Expanding the playoff may not necessarily bring more fairness to the sport.
