ACU beat Tarleton St. 35-31 for UAC title, clinches program's first FCS playoff berth

Maverick McIvor led Abilene Christian to victory over Tarleton State, securing the United Athletic Conference title and a spot in the FCS playoffs. McIvor threw four touchdowns, including the game-winner to Sam Hicks. Both teams had strong offensive performances in a close game.
