"Accumulating snow" expected as strong storm hits central US

An early winter storm is set to bring accumulating snow to parts of Colorado this weekend, following above-normal temperatures. The National Weather Service warns of rain and snow, with temperatures dropping and snow levels potentially reaching lower elevations. Snow advisories are in place for mountain ranges, with hazardous road conditions expected.
