Alyssa Burkett's murder investigation revealed a plot involving her ex, Andrew Beard, and his fiancée, Holly Elkins. Beard was sentenced to 43 years, while Elkins received two life terms after being found guilty of conspiracy, stalking, and brandishing a weapon.
