White House touts $1 billion fund to help auto suppliers retool for EVs

Monroe Capital plans to launch a $1 billion fund to support smaller auto suppliers in transitioning to electric vehicles. The fund aims to provide lower-cost capital to help these suppliers refinance, grow, and diversify their businesses. The U.S. government is also providing grants to aid in this transition.
