Warming centers and shelters are opening across the Pittsburgh area ahead of bitter and extreme cold temperatures

Warming centers are being opened in Pittsburgh due to extremely cold temperatures. The National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory with temperatures below zero. Centers will provide shelter and assistance to protect against harmful effects of the cold.
