'Virtually the entire staff' of Voice of America placed on leave after Trump order guts broadcaster, director says

Voice of America, a government-funded broadcasting service established during World War II, was effectively shut down after President Trump's executive order. Nearly 1,300 staff members were placed on leave, including the director Michael Abramowitz.
