UK new car registrations see marginal decline in February, says SMMT

In February 2025, UK new car registrations dropped by 1%, with EV demand surging. Battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) saw a 41.7% increase, capturing a 25.3% market share. Plug-in hybrids and hybrid-electric vehicles also experienced growth.
