Teenager who allegedly tried to force way on to Jetstar flight in Victoria charged with attempted hijacking

A 17-year-old boy is facing federal charges for attempting to hijack a Jetstar flight at Avalon airport in Victoria. The teen climbed through a fence with a shotgun, but was overpowered by passengers. He is charged with assaulting airline crew, attempted hijacking, and other offences.
