TOKYO (Reuters) -Japan's SoftBank Group recorded a net profit of 2.5 trillion yen ($16.6 billion) for the July-September quarter, it said on Tuesday.
The result compares with the 207 billion yen ($1.37 billion) average net profit for the quarter estimated by three analysts, according to LSEG data, and with a gain of 1.18 trillion yen over the same period the previous year.
