Queensland man jailed after 'vicious' e-scooter attack

Simon Leslie Phillips, 47, was sentenced to jail for a violent e-scooter theft in Brisbane. He assaulted and robbed a man, causing grievous bodily harm. Despite a troubled past, he received a 5.5-year sentence with the possibility of parole in 2026.
