Post Office to close 115 branches and cut jobs to fund subpostmaster pay rise

The Post Office plans to close 115 branches, putting 2,000 jobs at risk. It aims to increase post office operator pay by £250m over 5 years. The move comes amidst the Horizon IT scandal inquiry and aims to maintain 11,500 branches in the UK.
