Ofgem calls on network operators to fast track renewables connection to grid

Ofgem urges UK network operators to expedite connection of renewable and clean energy projects to the grid. Proposals aim to reduce the backlog of projects, prioritize those operational within five years, and enforce stricter regulations to enhance service standards and meet 2030 targets.
