Ofcom to ban inflation-linked mid-contract price rises on phones, pay-TV and broadband

Starting in January 2025, phone, broadband, and TV providers in the UK are prohibited from imposing inflation-linked price increases in the middle of contracts. Regulator Ofcom mandates that customers must be informed upfront about any expected rises in "pounds and pence" throughout their deals.
