Lions DB Brian Branch loses appeal; 1-game suspension for altercation vs. Chiefs upheld

Detroit Lions defensive back Brian Branch was suspended for one game due to unsportsmanlike conduct after a postgame altercation with the Chiefs. The suspension was upheld by NFL hearing officer Jordy Nelson. Branch will miss a game against the Buccaneers and return for a matchup with the Vikings.
